Dr. Laura Clark offers pain, lifestyle, and
stress management counseling for a
variety of women’s health conditions. Her
passion and specialization in women's
health counseling stems from encountering
chronic vulvodynia, vestibulodynia, and
interstitial cystitis. As a result of her
surgeries, she developed painful scar
tissue. However, Dr. Laura has "learned"
to successfully manage her physical pain!
It is her passion to offer other women
and/or couples hope and compassion in
dealing with chronic health conditions. You
are not alone!
Dr. Laura's passion in counseling women
with cancer or terminal illnesses comes
from her personal experience with several
women in her family encountering breast
cancer. Dr. Laura's mother had stage two
breast cancer when she was in her twenties
and had stage four breast cancer in her
fifties. Her optimistic mother outlived
negative assumptions over her life and had
no traces of cancer throughout her body
for several years. Dr. Laura's mother has
been deceased since 2004.
