"Let's get "Real & Relational" by unleashing the silence and removing our masks to cultivate the process of uncovering our shame. Then we can begin to soften our hearts and abide in godly healthy community comprised of love, support, and authentic fellowship with others. You are destined to live the abundant life." - Dr. Laura Clark
Our culture is encountering a condition in which we know an addiction, bondage, secret, or stronghold is obvious but we do not want to admit it exists or talk about it. Therefore, we deny the gripping secret in our own lives or the lives of our loved ones. The silence, secret, or shame is huge, vast, massive, enormous, gigantic, and overwhelmingly consumes us. The secret entraps our thought life and behaviors many hours throughout each day and often for many years without anyone knowing what we are shamefully going through.
"Let's get "Real & Relational" by unleashing the silence and removing our masks to cultivate the process of uncovering our shame."
It is time to unleash the silence and set the captives free. God’s Word states that the Spirit of the Lord is upon us. He has anointed us to bring good news to the afflicted, bind up the brokenhearted, and to proclaim liberty to captives and freedom to prisoners (Isaiah 61:1). Your past, mistakes, poor choices, cursing diagnoses, negative labels, and failures do not define you. You are fearfully and wonderfully made in Christ. Let’s get "Real & Relational" and talk about our secrets by removing our masks and embracing godly healthy community where we can love, support, encourage, and have authentic fellowship with others.
Destined To Breakthrough
Many people in homes, businesses, the church, and families are currently struggling with a pornography or sexual addiction, substance addiction, abuse, depression, or other bondage. The time to unleash the silence, shame, or secret is today. You are destined to breakthrough and break free and experience God’s greater purpose for the abundant life He has for you.
May you be challenged to take the first step by courageously reaching out to a safe person, support group, recovery program, pastor, or counselor. May a positive movement and chain reaction start with you and the shame be removed. Naming the secret or shame can be the initial effort to step out of denial on what is keeping us bound or stuck. Then we can courageously reject our comfort zone and reach out for support, love, community, and care. May you courageously receive support and healing for depression, anxiety, alcoholism, drug addiction, betrayal, pornography addiction, sexual addiction, shame, abuse, eating disorders, relationship conflict, trauma, illness, or another struggle you are facing. We are in this together, are called to be in godly healthy community, and to love others well. God loves you dearly and you are secure, significant, and valuable in Him. Empowering You 2 Breakthrough and Break Free and get "Real & Relational".
